Normandina
Only a single species known, so the description of the genus is that of N. pulchella.

Normandina pulchella (Borrer) Nyl.
Squamulose lichens containing a trebouxioid alga; thallus of clustered or scattered squamules, squamules pale bluish green, thin, but with a thickened margin, older portions with concentric “growth rings”, soredia usually present over the upper surface of the squamule; apothecia or perithecia not known with certainty, but perithecia may appear on the thallus owing to the parasite Lauderlindsaya borreri.
Reactions: All spot tests negative.
Contents: No known lichen substances.
Habitat: On mossy branches and twigs in very humid areas, as around waterfall sprayzones. Lower elevations.
Similar Species: No species is similar.

Local Status: Rare.
